2020 Census Card Campaign.

As we all cope with COVID-19 and how it has upended our lives, the 2020 Census may be the last thing on our minds.

But the census is more important than ever: its data is used to determine federal funding for emergency services and other essentials, including healthcare, school programs, housing, transportation and social services.

In partnership with United Way Bay Area and the Alameda County Complete Count Committee, we mobilized from home to help ensure a complete 2020 Census count by customizing and mailing 8,000 informational postcards to historically undercounted neighborhoods in Oakland.
